Noggin, Nickelodeon's educational streaming platform, required a flexible template system for its Evergreen campaigns that would ensure visual consistency while supporting a wide variety of shows and promotional content.
As the Senior Visual Designer, I collaborated closely with stakeholders from the early discovery phase through concept presentation and template development, helping shape a solution that balanced creativity, scalability, and brand consistency.
-
The objective was to design a reusable template system that could adapt to different campaigns while remaining fully aligned with Noggin's detailed brand guidelines. Beyond creating visually engaging layouts, the templates needed to be intuitive for other designers to use efficiently across future projects.
-
The project began with stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions to understand both the client's expectations and the functional requirements of the template system.
After researching the brand and its young target audience, I developed three creative directions. While two concepts responded directly to the client's request, I proposed a third solution as an additional creative exploration, offering a fresh perspective that expanded the possibilities for the campaign.
As part of the process, I presented the concepts directly to the client, leading the design pitch and explaining the creative rationale behind each proposal.
When building the final templates, special attention was given to scalability and usability. Safe zones, editable components, and flexible layouts were carefully considered to ensure the files could be easily adapted by other designers while maintaining visual consistency across different shows and campaign assets.
